UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is a rating used to measure how effectively a fabric blocks the sun's UV radiation. Clothing with a UPF50+ rating blocks 99% of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays, offering excellent protection against sunburns, skin aging, and even skin cancer caused by prolonged exposure to UV rays.

UPF50+ clothing sold in Australia is rigorously tested and rated according to the internationally recognised Australian standard AS 4399:2020 by ARPANSA (Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency). This ensures you’re getting top-quality protection you can trust.
